Local Team Collaboration:

  • Join a cohesive team of 16 physicians and nine advanced practice providers (APPs) at Aiken Regional Medical Center and the ER at Sweetwater in North Augusta.
  • Provide high-quality care by working with a diverse group of clinicians, including experienced providers and newly trained residents.
  • Engage in hospital committees such as medical executive, sepsis, and peer review, contributing to our community connections and patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) certification is required.
  • Georgia state licensure is required.
  • Two years of acute care or hospital medicine experience preferred.
Practice in the Heart of the Community

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care as part of the nocturnist team covering Aiken Regional Medical Center and ER at Sweetwater.
  • Manage admissions, cross-coverage calls, and collaborate with colleagues and consultants during overnight shifts.
  • Work in a high-volume emergency setting, assisting with 43,000 annual visits at Aiken Regional and 23,000 at Sweetwater.
