Nurse Practitioner Memorial Scholarship FunRun 3-26-16

Allison Klapp completed her Master's in Nursing in 2013, becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner.  She was an Assistant Professor of Nursing at UNG and also worked in the Student Health clinic and Appalachian Nurse Practitioner clinic at the university.  Allison was also a part of the nursing honor society Tau Psi, where she served as President-Elect in 2013.  This run/walk benefits the Allison Clapp Memorial Scholarship and is hosted by the Tau Psi chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society.

Run or walk through the beautiful campus of University of North Georgia and downtown Dahlonega on Saturday, March 26, 2016. This professionally designated 5K course is on paved city streets with mature shade trees and moderate variations in terrain. Online registration is available. Cost is $30 if registered by 1/31/16, $35 by 3/10/16, or $40 through race day. Race day registration starts at 7:30 AM. T-shirts will be guaranteed with paid registration fee to all participants pre-registered by 3/10/2016. Race starts at 9 AM. Awards start at 10:30 AM. Refreshments will be available before and after the race. Online registration closes at 12 noon on March 25, 2016. Same day registration opens at 7:30 AM on March 26, 2016. The Allison Clapp Memorial Fun Run/Walk 5K will be a rain or shine event.
