SB 314 (APRN) for vote THURSDAY 2/18

I got an email from Dana last night stating that late yesterday evening our APRN bill was calendared to be voted on TODAY.  PLEASE contact your senators this morning to support this bill.  Check the info Julie has posted for CAPRN if you need to know who you need to contact.

The bill updates the definition of GA APRNs and adds security to licensing with fingerprinting and background checks (there have been several cases of imposter nurses in GA this year).  The bill is straightforward, but will still face opposition.  A majority vote would be a great step forward for APRNs in Georgia.
