Just for NPs who live in and around Dacula
**Attention Gwinnett County nurse practitioners who live in Dacula, Hamilton Mill, and Harbin: There will be a runoff election on December 3, 2013 between Republicans Chuck Efstration and Teresa Cantrell to represent District 104 in the Georgia House of Representatives. Efstration, a lawyer, won about 38 percent of the votes while Cantrell, a former Gwinnett County planning commissioner, won about 26 percent. I contacted both via email regarding their stance on voting for SB 94 next year, and got no response from Mr. Efstration. However, Teresa Cantrell called me and expressed her support of nurse practitioners, including sending her four children to them for care, and listened as I explained the bill. She is not supported by organized medicine and wants to increase quality healthcare for her constituents.
