CAPRN is hosting more "Legislative Working Days" at the Capitol in February to support the passage of SB 94 by the State House of Representatives, and increase the visibility of nurse practitioners amongst the legislature. Laura Searcy will meet with you and show you how she follows Bills that are being introduced and discussed in the State House and Senate sessions, looking for legislation that might affect APRN practice.  If you contact your Representative and schedule an appointment, you may be able to meet with them in between sessions.  They give priority to constituents from their districts and will listen as you tell them about your practice and your concerns.  Our turnout so far has been poor, so please make this a priority, even if you can only attend for an hour or two.  There is $5 parking available near the Capitol, and if you plan to attend please email Laura at LSearcy@caprn.org
