About the preceptor Tayah is looking for:

I am a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner student at the University of Missouri Sinclair School of Nursing. For the Fall 2025 semester, I am looking for preceptors to complete two required clinical courses:

Pediatric Primary Care (90 hours): Focused on newborn through adolescence, including well-child visits, minor acute care, stable chronic illness, growth and development, and anticipatory guidance. A PNP or Pediatrician in primary care is preferred, though an FNP or Family Practice Physician who regularly sees 8–10 pediatric patients daily is also acceptable.

Pediatric Mental Health Assessment & Treatment (90 hours): Involves assessment, diagnosis, and medication management for children and adolescents with psychiatric conditions. Preceptors may be MDs, DOs, PAs, PMHCNSs, or PMHNPs.
